Community Table with Lancaster Farmland Trust and Alex Wenger of Field's Edge Farm
- Monday, May 5th at 10:00 PM
We’re glad to welcome back our friend Alex Wenger of The Field’s Edge for the next gathering in our Community Table series. Alex farms just outside of Lititz, where his careful, small-scale approach yields some of the most flavorful and nutrient-dense produce in the region. His work is thoughtful, seasonal, and deeply rooted in the land.
This dinner will feature a prix fixe menu inspired by the farm’s early spring harvest, with an optional beverage pairing available. We’ll gather around shared tables to enjoy good food and good conversation, and to hear more about Alex’s approach to sustainable agriculture.
The evening is presented in partnership with Lancaster Farmland Trust, an organization working to protect the future of farming in Lancaster County. Through conservation, education, and long-term stewardship, they’re helping to ensure that the region’s most productive soils remain in agricultural use for generations to come.
This is a shared table multi-course dinner where you will be enjoying an exciting evening alongside others from our community and the producers who made it possible.
